Format & Quality

Choose the file type and quality.

  • Render Mode — one video file, or a numbered image sequence (PNG/JPG).
  • Codec — the video format. H.264 is the safe, compatible default; HEVC is smaller; ProRes is for handing off to an editor; HAP is for VJ playback. H.264/HEVC use your GPU (NVENC) when possible — the line under the dropdown shows which encoder your machine will use.
  • Bitrate — higher means better quality and bigger files; the hint translates it into a quality label.
  • Export Audio — include the project's soundtrack as an audio track.
