# Severity Matrix

- `SEV1`: customer-facing outage or severe data integrity risk
|
|
- `SEV2`: major degradation with partial customer impact
|
|
- `SEV3`: localized degradation or operational risk without broad impact
|
|
|
|
Use the highest supported severity. If the evidence is incomplete, report uncertainty instead of downgrading silently.
